“Exxon Mobil turns oil into blood”?

Why would Venezuela's oil minister, Rafael Ramirez, accuse Exxon of being “linked to the invasion of Iraq.”

I don't meed Ramirez to know that Exxon helps Dubya and Dubya helps Exxon (Iraq).“Exxon Mobil turns oil into blood”?
He's a little man and the Chavez propaganda minister, kind of like Baghdad Bob.
Exxon Mobil just took Venezuela's oil monopoly to court to freeze their assets. I don't think Chavez and his henchmen are very happy with Exxon Mobile about now. Heh heh. This gets funnier and funnier. That silly fat man thought he could mess with the US corporations. Chew more coca you bonehead. Your people are going to kick your butt.
of course hes gonna say that, we need proof.
You can't turn oil in to blood. Oil does not have the make-up to sustain life. Blood does.

U.S. rulers have started their latest oil war. They are temporarily targeting Afghanistan, but their strategic goal is to secure the Middle East. They are disguising this war as a ';crusade against international terrorism.'; The atrocious murders in September of thousands of workers and others in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. have given them the cover they need to conceal their true motives under a cloak of flag-waving patriotism.

';Exxon said it's been in talks with officials in Iraq';

With our history, I can understand the feeling.

Vietnam War:

The only Vietnamese who seemed to want us there wanted greenbacks in return for drugs, booze or women, or all three. We also saw the enemy fight and had to admire both his bravery and tenacity in taking on U.S. tanks, planes and helicopters with grenades and rifles. We supposedly valued human life while our enemy did not. Yet we paid the owners of the Michelin plantations $600 for each rubber tree we damaged, while the family of a slain Vietnamese child got no more than $120 in payment for a life.
It's nothing more than baseless political propaganda and rhetoric being spouted by one of Hugo's yes men. In this day and age, you can blame a ham sandwich of being in cahoots with big oil and someone idiot will believe it.
He probably meant turns blood into oil.

If he did he is right.

How do security companies and weapons companies make a profit and stay in business, if nobody thinks we need their products and services? How do you even promote a product when peace conflicts with profit?

When you can answer those two questions, you'll understand exactly why he said it. Might help if you watch the link Semko supplied.
Just take a look at this.....and you will know why.
