I for one did not go to Iraq to fight for the oil. I think that your facts are a little screwed up. The USA got 2 to 5% of the oil produced. We went there to stop a crazy man from doing more stupid things in the region. Like killing women and children.

The whole war about oil thing was long ago, a failed trick the democrats used. It didn't work.
Exxon Mobil spends the most money on 3 things: Exec bonuses, extorting high profits for share holders from poor people (good old American plunder, i.e capitalism at it's finest) and PR, i.e. advertising budget. In this way they screw you, and put an ad agency hard to work convincing you that they aren't in fact screwing you.
